Subject: Alternator Failure
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

The alternator in my TSIO 550 failed at approximately 20 hours on a new
engine. The non-metallic drive bushing used in place of a metallic gear
started slipping and caused intermittient operation. TCM replaced the
drive unit under warrenty.
