I'm building an ES-P, so maybe my spar attachment points
are in a different place.
With my seat in the rear position on the rails that cantilever
it back, to maintain the proper angle for the center seat belt attachment
points provided with the AmSafe seatbelts the attachment point needs to be
pretty much in the middle of the rear floor (just like it shows in the AmSafe
installation instructions). Likewise, to make sure the airbag on the lap
belt stays near the center of your lap with the belt at the right angle, the
side attachment point needs to be on the floor back about 4 to 6 inches from
the spar. Attached is a photo of the attachment brackets installed in my
plane.
