But it will melt. I have several melted spots on my panel dust cover
from reflection of the sun when the canopy is open. LNC2 pilots know not
to leave their canopy full open for more than about 30 seconds when the sun is
behind the plane, as the canopy acts as a magnifying glass. I have covered
some of the worst burn holes with an EAA sticker, but there are more spots
surrounding the area.
