We used Ultraleather for the upholstery in my RV8, which was
finished in the spring of ’03. My wife did the sewing. It has held up very
well, and still gets a lot of compliments. It is soft and comfortable but still
tough. It has the advantage that it can be purchased with approved
fireproofing. It is lighter and easier to sew than real leather.

Does
anyone have any experience or opinions of the Ultraleather product for
aircraft upholstery? I've talked with the sales people but would like
some input from actual users.
