Gentlemen -

Many of you have responded wanting to know more about my prop for sale.  I
have responded to all of you at the same time and BCC'd many of you direct
to keep you anonymous.  Attached is the best close up pic I have but I can
get others if you need them.  The prop is a 3 blade aerocomposites prop,
model 3350 (rated to 350 horsepower and 3000 rpm).  It's not an MT prop, but
all composite with a very hard Nickel leading edge (and way more durable
than an aluminum prop, as I have already found out with my new one thanks to
a big rock).  http://www.aerocomposites.com/  It was on my Lancair IV-P
(TSIO 550E) for 1200 hours trouble free, from 2002-2009.  The prop and
spinner are still as you see in the picture, that is to say painted to match
my airplane.  I replaced with a Hartzell Scimitar because of engine
modifications (more than 350 horsepower) and didn't want to overwork this
prop.  It is VERY light compared to the Hartzell and thus is suitable for
you doing LNC2 or Legacy applications to help with cg and overall weight.
It also has electric deice boots already installed.  This prop cost over
$12k new in 2002, and with spinner would set you back $16750 plus labor and
shipping if you bought it now (price from website).  I am asking $4k firm
for both spinner and prop, as is.  That is a smokin' deal, any way you look
at it - I am not looking to make money here, just get a fair price and help
a fellow Lancair enthusiast out.  I don't know the specifics, but I do know
that the prop is due an overhaul from the factory - someone at Redmond may
be able to do it/inspect it, etc., I didn't check into this.  Either way, a
little bit of money for that and a matching spinner is still less than half
of what you would pay for a new prop of any flavor....So please don't email
and offer me 2 thousand bucks.  You will want to have the thing painted to
match your airplane anyway, so an overhaul makes sense.  The prop and
spinner are at RDD Enterprises in Redmond.  I can arrange for you to see it
or have them take a couple of pics if you would like.

Thanks for your interest.  Call me or email me direct with other questions.
