The focal speed of = around 140 kts (often less) is excruciating. Sometimes I'll fly with about = 10-20 degrees of flaps out to drag up my plane a little. Personally, I use a vernier throttle and 90% of the corrections are with the vernier. Occasionally, failure to plan ahead enough requires the depression of = the button. As far as throttle quadrants go, I've only flown form in one 360 with a quadrant and it's power resolution was far too course for lower speed formation flight. My guess is that your challenge will not be much = improved with a throttle quadrant. Others may have one that has nice resolution = at the lower end of the power band. I have been doing a lot of formation flying with RV's recently.=A0 This means=A0tons of small power changes while flying 140 kts.. I had plans to change the location of my throttle/prop/mixture cables to = a more comfortable location, but now I am considering a quadrant. So, does anybody have any experience flying a 320/360 with a quadrant installed?=A0 Good or Bad?=A0 Any brands that are better than others?=A0 = Am I crazy for even thinking about doing this?=A0 Are small movements = possible (like formation flying) with a quadrant? I have electric trim so my center console is empty forward of the glove = box. Thanks, Tom McNerney N54SG
