Being shoeless is not a recommendation I make, however. I wear "boat shoes" which are a Rivers store product - very lightweight - almost moccasin style with laces and easily shed. They are thin soled - very flexible and allow excellent feel of the rudder pedals and toe brakes. I once shared a cockpit with a Vietnamese First Officer who had an IQ of 160 and who also dispensed with shoes - a most unpleasant olfactory experience in the tropics after a 15 minute taxy, followed by T/O Gear Up Flap Up Shoes Off! I'll be in Jandakot in May. Cheers Dom VH-CZJ ------=_NextPart_000_0077_01CAAEFF.2CB603E0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
