I have had good luck with the SCEET tubing  for this. SCEET is basically double-walled SCAT and is much harder to cut/puncture.

I used this stuff, it's a high temperature, reflective sleeve.

 Some time ago, there was a discussion on the merits of insulating the scat
tubing in the  pressurization system on a L-IVP.
 
 I have located some thin adhesive backed aluminum tape and wonder if this
would be suitable for the application.
 
 Any comments or suggestions?
