We've got the Kindle DX and use the NACOMATIC free downloads http://dranz.readyhosting.com/#Current  . We've had good experience with the Kimdle as it shows the entire plate full size, is quite clear and is readable in sunlight or cockpit lighting.. I'll generally print out my destination plates as a backup and use the Kindle for everything else.
