Matt,
We ran into Jim and his wife Margie at their Oshkosh forum two years ago and did one of their escorted trips to Long Key Stella Maris--- we had a great time--I would highly recommend it. Their fee was about $100 and the discount they arranged on the hotel more than paid for their fee. Jim is a retired State Department fellow with lots of Caribbean contacts. We had about 20 aircraft in our group, stayed at a beach resort, and had a party every night.
Once I get my aircraft flying I am thinking of an all Lancair flyout to the Bahamas with Jim--he is agreeable to that.
Best Regards,
Jeff

Subject: [LML] Bahamas bound
The wife really wants to go somewhere warm and sunny after Christmas. I hate flying commercially. So I’m thinking “fly the little Lancair to the Bahamas”. I’ve started doing some research and it all seems feasible. Legs over open water aren’t too long…
Any suggestions of where to go, or even rental homes you’d suggest?
Thank you!
