Am not flying yet. Strut was acquired with kit = in 1996. Approx one month ago had the strut reworked at Lancair - cost = about $1200. Increased turn to 70 degrees, upgraded some other parts but = elected NOT to purchase the heavier walled cylinder. That would have added = about $850 as I recall. Will be taxiing and then flying in a few weeks it = would appear, so I don't have any reports on performance or problems.
