Gang,
In the archives I noted the many glowing recommendations for
DH Instruments flexible tubing. Some suggested this is a cheaper option than other
flexible lines such as stainless braided Teflon tubing. I just spoke with a rep
from DH Instruments (now a Fluke company) about prices. They sell
standard-length tubes with AN-4 fittings preinstalled (only straight
connectors) in eight different sizes ranging from 8 to 96 inches. Costs range
from $100 for the shortest to around $150 for the longest… for each
length.
If you want non-standard length, add another $30 per length.
How is this cheaper than, say, the Stratoflex lines,
especially if you install the fittings yourself?
