So I use 2 nm/1000ft for planning. I notice the TAS at high density= altitudes seemed to increased the range greatly, but the VSI is also indic= ated, rather than true VSI, so the ratio remains the same. Initially, I wis= hfully thought I could get a greater range like 3nm/kft if starting from sa= y FL 250, but this neglects the correction to the indicated VSI.=A0Once aga= in L/D max is the same AOA under varying weight, G (turning load factor), a= nd density(?)
