For my plane, a reasonable power ON equivalent (versus engine shut down) to a power OFF situation is flat pitch (leaving blue knob at 2500RPM) and 10.5" MAP, which yields the 120 KIAS and ~500 fpm.
I can not put my Hartzel prop into full feather while flying at a low (idle) power setting without the engine stopping completely.
Note that this power setting is similar to being on one mile final (usually 11" to 11.5").

I say this only in case you haven't already considered it. Why not do a few test flights, practice engine out procedures, note your airspeed and corresponding rate of descent. Try it at a few different speeds. When you're safely back on the ground, determine the resulting glide ratios, and you'll have a good baseline for programming your avionics.
