I have a full feather Hartzel scimatar prop on my LIVP. Engine shut off, prop feathered and stopped, glide is ~500fpm at 120KIAS. This translates into a 24:1 glide ratio, which seems ridiculous, but has been demonstrated several times. I have programmed my Chelton for 18:1 glide ratio.
Of course, a coarse pitch prop without feather feature would be different.

What do you recommend as the ³Glide Ratio² in the Chelton System User Programmed Settings?
