I think I have posted this picture of my towing arrangement a few short
years ago.
The vehicle is a small ATV and the long tow bar was fabricated to fit the
Lancair female tow section. The marine hook and eye were welded onto the
fabricated tow bar and the seat frame respectively, and virtually no slack
is involved so as to provide continuity in movement of the ATV and aircraft
with no jerking.
It works and with all these things - it is done carefully.
As it happens I moved location three years ago and haven't needed the towing
device since then.
