My next door hangar neighbor has a Columbia 400 and a gas powered nose dragger he used for his Bonanza. After buying the Columbia, he finally gave up on the nose dragger and parked it. He bought the power tow and says it works much better. He too bought the adapters to connect to the axle. Our es wheel pant has no holes in it like the 400 to access the wheel axle. I have a power tow for my TR182 and 177RG (with the long arm adapters for my FG177 and ES) and my only complaint is that the posts on the ES nose strut are so small that I have to be careful to make shallow turns or else bend the posts on the nose gear piece. This is the short piece added at the bottom of the strut or top of the wheel pant. I am not sure if it came from Lancair or some other source. I bought 5/8" x 8 inch bolts and
drilled a hole in the center to fit over the nose strut fixture. Picture on request. duane es 39WG 15hrs. so far.
