Mark. Foam plug? I don’t have an ES
so this might not be appropriate:
If you want an exact copy of the firewall,
take a big piece of ¼” foam, put it over the flange on the front of the
airplane and make an impression of the firewall by tap tap tap with a rubber mallet
on the flange. An exact copy.

Dimensions
I'm working on a custom cowl for my ES. There's a guy with a CNC
mill that has offered to machine a foam plug for me, but I need to provide
the measurements. So, I'm trying to get the x-y dimensions around the
perimeter of the firewall. That's fine if you don't have these dimensions
handy. There's no big hurry. I'll be out at the airport on Saturday
and can get them then.

Hi Mark, Not sure
just what dimension you are looking for but I just wrapped a string around the
perimeter of my ES fuselage at the firewall and it measured 132 3/4
inches. If you want a different dimension let me know and I'll get
it.

Does anyone have the perimeter dimensions of the ES firewall that they
would be willing to share with me?
