He will know if alternatives or mix and match parts can be done. Scott spent over an hour giving us a mini-seminar on gear service at the Lancair Fly-In this past weekend. One thing I took away is the advisability of returning a nose gear to Scott for maintenance. There have been running improvements over the years, many can only be determined by disassembly and reassembly is critical. Steve Colwell Legacy LML'ers Do any of you know whether Lancair has an alternate source for a replacement 320/360 nose gear strut? Could anything else be made to fit? Pretty depressing to think that a damaged strut would render our planes worthless not to mention a total loss for insurance purposes. I certainly hope I'm wrong. Angier Ames N4ZQ
