I have a carbureted 320. When I do the GAMI test, cylinders 1, 2 and 3 are 50°F LOP by the time 4 gets to peak. At this time it is just to rough. I then enrich the mixture by 25 to 50°F.
At 15,000 ft, I fly at 2,350 RPM, full throttle, 6.0 to 6.5 GPH and 170 to 175 KTAS.
With 43 gallons of fuel on board, this gets me from Detroit to Jacksonville in 4 hours with enough fuel left over to continue on down to KFLL.
