Hi Bill-I changed my tires to the Goodyear custom 3 and had not clearance problems. But they were very tight. The goodyear custom 2 did not fit as they were too fat.
 
How's the hanger in Livermore. I'd like to come out and take you to lunch. What is your schedule there and hanger #?
