I dont think the mounts are 500. I bought a brand new set off ebay for 200.

Keith,
You may have the same problem my 360 had when I bought it.  The rubber
in the motor mounts tends to sag.  There are a couple of fixes.  You
could replace the mounts which is bit expensive, someone told me the
mounts are around $500.  Another option is to use large washers under
the bottom mounts to shim up the bottom of the engine.

I've heard of several Lancairs with this problem.  You might search
the LML archives for other refrences to this problem.  My spinner has
a good bit of clearance between it and the cowl.  In my airplane, the
alternator pulley on the front of the engine was hitting the cowl in
the front.

The shimming fix is not too bad of a job, you'll need to unbolt the
engine from the motor mounts, slip in the larger washer(s).  Hope that
will be enough clearance.
