When I checked last year, Lancair was selling the baffle kits, but at a
ridiculous price; I think it was around $750.  I bought the RV kit and had
no major difficulty fitting it, although you have to be prepared to cut a
lot of metal away, and to make some very minor modifications around the
front of the engine.  However it was not difficult, the kit was of =
excellent
quality, and fitted very well.  Having said all that, I was using Chris
Zavatson's plenum instead of silicone baffles, but I see no reason why you
should have any difficulty with them.

I think that I bought the RV7 kit, and it was about $250.  Any side by =
side
kit should work though.

I would not personally want to cut the baffles out from scratch, as the =
fit
is quite critical and the shapes are complex; it would be a lot of work.
