I noticed that when my nose gear came up, it was slightly scratching my nose gear door.

I traced the problem to the fluid flow and not the sequence valve.

When the main gear come up, the fluid is free to flow from the high to the low pressure side in the nose gear door strut.

Typically, with the nose trying to go to the left because of prop factor, the nose gear door is also prematurely pushed to the left because of the airflow.

My solution is to apply more than necessary right rudder as the nose gear is retracting. This right rudder should keep the nose gear door open (due to airflow) a little longer.

I have this problem on my Lancair 235.
Sometime, while retracting, the nose gear door close before the nose gear retract, as if there is a leak in the sequence valve; I changed the valve but there wasn't improvement.
It seem the problem happen if the time between extension and retraction is short but I'm not sure because it's random.

Someone has experienced a similar problem?
