I have flown behind the Tridair fasteners for 12 years now. Their beauty is in the positive and negative ratcheting feature that allows you to just barely snug them down against the eglass. They are rated to +/-40G (were originally designed for Lockheed missiles, from what I hear), and have not eaten through the paint or wallowed out the eglass in all this time.
