Speaking of Epic Aircraft, an Epic LT made a water landing in the Columbia River near downtown Astoria, OR on Friday afternoon after the engine quit. Unfortunately the Epic LT is not a floatplane.  Apparently it was a good landing as both occupants got out without injury.  According to airport-data.com the plane was registered in Dec 08.  The tail number is N653SB
