The TruTrak autopilot includes instructions for attaching the pitch servo pushrod to an idler in the Legacy pitch control system, but does not provide a good solution for the 320 / 360. Here is a picture of my solution -- a nylon block which clamps around the pitch push rod. I have included the mechanical trim nylon block (which comes standard in the 360 kit) for reference in the picture. My block is 5/8 thick to accommodate an AN-3 bolt sideways for the rod end bearing. The standard block is 3/8 thick.
I used a 1-1/4 inch Forstner bit (available at woodworking stores for about $7) to drill the large hole. All of the cutting and shaping was done on my table saw, except for the large outer radius opposite the clamping bolt, which was done with a belt/disc sander.
I will probably also use Scott Krueger's idea of having a hose clamp on either side of the nylon block, just in case it starts to slip.
Oh, and the hardware is not the final hardware. Some of you picky types might notice that the castellated nut is attached to a bolt that does not have a cotter pin hole. It will, eventually.
Anyone wanting additional details -- just ask.
