How do you know your nose gear door is opening in flight?

I installed a microswitch in the wheel well on the side opposite the hinge. I connected  it to a bidirectional RED/GREEN LED on the panel. The RED light is on when the hydraulic pump is running (in either direction), and the GREEN light is on when the nose gear door is fully closed. That way, on departure, I'll be able to tell that the nose gear didn't get jambed sideways in the tunnel, because the door went fully closed as indicated by the LED turning from RED to GREEN.

The right side of the attached schematic is partially cut off, but there is a 1N4001 diode going to each hot wire on the hydraulic pump (I hooked them up at the pump relays). I probably should have installed a 1/2A fuse, but I haven't yet.

Work good - last long time.
