The dents are on the right and left sides of the pan where needed for nose gear linkage clearance, they do not affect oil drainage.  Checking the clearance is easier with a cardboard feeler gauge since it is hard to see even with the cowl off and using a mirror.

 

My custom denting tool was a 90 degree ¾” PVC elbow with a piece of iron pipe inside it for length, angle and mass.

Does that mean that all the oil cannot go uphill over the dent when it's time to drain it?
