I think it's pretty standard to put this rectangular hole in the front right baffle, and a lot of guys have done the same thing to the left rear inside the oil cooler box. I originally spotted this cutout on a Cirrus. As mentioned by guys with far more knowledge that myself, the fins on the cylinders have almost zero depth on that side and it blocks airflow on the front of #5 and the rear of #2. I talked to Tim Ong in Hot Springs, and he was working on incorporating both of these mods into the standard baffle kit.
