How many have filed a claim with them? =20 I do the former on a regular basis, having had occasion to do the latter just once. When I experienced a cockpit fire during engine maintenance (don't ask - the story is long and tedious) I found the AIG field staff very responsive, practically saying "There, there you poor fellow - we'll get it fixed for you". When renewal time arrived they jumped my rate but after a pleading call dropped it down, and with their TAA discount actually reduced the rate. When I wanted particulars about salvage of a pranged Columbia the AIG group passed e-mails among their offices trying to locate the info I wanted. (In the end it was Skysmith Ins. who found my answer, but AIG did try.) AIG is not staffed by idiots and the insurance group do not seem to be greedy SOBs. They see a problem with one model of one make and have taken a stab at reducing their risk. Perhaps their plan is flawed. If you think so (I do) and it adversely affects you (it does not affect me) then by all means phone these folks and give them some carefully thought through suggestions. I'll wager they will listen.=20 Robert M. Simon ES-P N301ES
