The National Telephone Supply Co. tool has about 24”
handles and is the best tool for Nicopress terminals. If you can find a
sailboat rigging shop you might pay them to make a house call. It is very
important to make the crimps correctly and to verify them with a gauge whatever
tool you use. The Aircraft Spruce tool is probably OK for rudder pedals
if you are careful. I would use a Swaged fitting for Flying wires and
other high stress applications.
