If you are returning the drain on the Air/Oil Separator to the crankcase that could be contributing to the problem. I like draining the Separator to a catch tank. That avoids returning the water with acids to the engine. An additional advantage is it allows you to monitor how much blow by oil and water is occurring between oil changes.
