When I was at the airport today I checked the sonic
nozzles on my IVP. (they were conveniently exposed due to my starter adapter
shaft adventures) Barry's drawing is the way mine have been for the 570
hours on the airplane. The more gradual taper is away from the
intercooler. There was an arrow stamped on the nozzles showing flow in the
direction it was installed. The heat and pressurization has been doing
fine. (now I have jinxed myself)
