Since the wheel is located next to the throttle hand, it is not a problem with moving your hand between the throttle and the trim wheel as they are inherently related in a Lancair. Remember, however, that the connection is not quite mechanical but driven by spring pressures - easy enough to override and providing a light touch for minor pitch manual adjustments.
