Terrence,

"Type" here refers to Lancair 200, 320, 360, IVP, etc. How much time the pilot had in type of Lancair that was the subject of the accident. -- Now for the $64,000 question-- how do we reduce the accident rate?

Jeff
ps- I checked in the mirror and saw my EAA Flight Advisor smiling back at me ;)

Interesting, but please define 'type'
Experience should relate to wing loading, power loading, and pilot input vs aircraft reaction ... 'type' doesn't have to be 'lancair'.
Check with your EAA Flight Advisor.

Here is a pretty sobering chart.
