Yes you are correct. The vertical axis is number of accidents since the first accident and the horzontal axis ss pilot time in Lancair. Sorry,but the graph information got cut off when I converted it.

Be careful out there as you build the necessary experience to fly your aircraft safely. This is true of all airplanes we fly and the Lancair is no different. Experience is a tough teacher.

The attached chart sent by vtail Jeff is indeed sobering.  It might be more
enlightening with titles on the X and Y axis.  I'm assuming (a dangerous
enterprise) that the chart includes all Lancair models since the first
Lancair was built and plots numbers of accidents against flight time as PIC
in the accident Lancair model. Is this correct?
