Flying with the small tail takes some getting used to and you may need a little more skill in landing but its really not bad. Also, are you aware of the potential flutter problem with the large tail mod? I think Marv still has that info on his site. Scott Dahlgren, The solenoid that draws 7 amps from a 14V source is NOT a master solenoid (continuous duty) it is probably a starter solenoid. The resistance of the coil on your master relay should be about 20 ohms and it should draw less than one amp. The resistance of the coil on your starter relay (intermittent duty relay) should be in the range of the 3 to 4 ohms range and will draw 4 to 5 amps. or more, depending on the manufacturer.
