The upright portion of the winglets are held by a fixture at the correct incidence angle. I had to twist the trailing edge of one about 3/4" closer to the fuselage centerline, and the leading edge of the other 3/4" closer to the centerline to achieve the correct incidence. The question I have is whether they will hold the correct angle once they are closed out. I know they're supposed to, but there's the instruction manual, and then there's the real world. Is there a chance that they will twist back somewhat after they are closed and released from the fixture? In my case if they do, I will have an equal error in opposite directions. Has anyone had any experience with this?
