You say that you have 450 hrs and a hundred in hp---have been flying a 172----I wold suggest that the first 100 hours in a 360 be with an indiviual that has experience in a 360 or simular plane-there are so many differnces between a 172 and a 360 ---take off speed-tork of the engine-stall speed-landing speed--low vs high wing and roll out procedures. I an not trying to sare you but I am trying to look out for yor safety.

Can anyone tell me which insurance carrier recognizes the training sessions from HPAT and will discount insurance for this training.  I have not received any training in a 360 yet,  I do have some time

(3 hrs) but not “training time”  I have 450 hrs, with about 100 in complex and 50 in HP.   Or should I just bite the bullet and pay the 7 grand and spend the first 50 hrs of flying in my 360 getting training and my instrument and going for the lower rate at renewal?  I actually only have about 6 hrs in the last 2 years, in a 172.  Can’t fly and build at the same time it seems like.
