There are good instructors, bad instructors and those that should find another line of work - Mike is head and shoulders above the good instructors. When he said "OK, you fly it" I knew I could handle N235SP without dinging it on my first landing - where it's most likely to happen. Mike not only did a very in-depth inspection, and then helped me take care of the few squawks that he found. In addition, Mike's got very large cajones as he shook my Lancair down on it's first flight, including checking stall speeds both clean and dirty and had the presence of mind to radio the data points to me as I sat safely on the ground!
