Our editor, Mr. Kaye, appoligises to us for failing to edit the post in
question under the subject "A chance to live longer".  While I'm sure we
all recognize that this was posted in the spirit of comraderie and in
well intentioned humor,  it gives us cause to pause to think about our
dear Mr. K having to ferret out contributions of this nature.

As has been said before,  write, wait a couple of hours, review,
consider,.....then  hit the "send" button.  Given time to think about
it,  most of the minds on this forum will self-edit and free the
overworked Mr. Kaye from saving us from our (very excusable) human
frailties.

As a word of encouragement,  the pursuit of cardio-vascular health is of
paramount importance for the bi-annual medical check is still a
requirement for our coveted PPL/SEL privileges.

Salutes to all and a well deserved thank you to Marv.
