Can anyone tell me where I can buy this unit, and does anyone know if
the unit Ed described is the same as the one shown in Clark's picture?

The flapper valve in the picture is available from AIRFLOW PERFORMANCE
SYSTEMS 864-576-4512.
Be warned that it is designed for the AFP fuel injection, and is 3 1/2" in
diameter. I actuate it with a MAC servo (I know). Unlike Wrong-Way Rick's
Argente's (just kidding) system, mine adds approximately 1"MP at 8k feet.
Additionally, this is 1" on top of what I believe is a quite low restriction
filtered system (with 3 1/2 SCAT tubing and a high flow K&N filter). Over
approximately 150 hours, it has worked very well.
Also, bear in mind that I had to add some additional area to the front of my
cowl to clear this large (but efficient) flapper. I will be pulling a new
cowl this weekend and will try to post the pictures soon.
