Angier, I am having problems with my VM 1000 oil pressure reading. At
times it will indicate low or even zero. This usually likes to happen when
I'm over mountainous terrain, open water or urban areas, serving as a useful
test of all of my sphincters. I spoke with Vision Microsystems and they
suggested checking the oil pressure sensor. Is that why you were asking? I
would also be interested in the answer. I think my problem may be where the
oil pressor sensor wire inserts into the DPU since sometimes jiggling the
wires in that region seems to remedy the problem. A friend says that
replacing the oil pressure sensor is one on the easiest things to do.

[Seems to me that Brent Regan mentioned something about the standard
terminations on the Vision Micro DPU being less than secure a long time
ago... (could you refresh our memories, Brent?) <Marv> ]
