 It seems to me that the "preferred" prop would be the prop best suited for
 your application.  They tell me that a three blade is smoother than a two
 blade.but, smoother enough that I would care???
 
 I think it is more about the HP you are expecting the prop to absorb.  If
 you can only swing about 70-72 inches, and  are running 300 HP or so, you
 will need a three blade to absorb it.  If you are lower in HP, you can
 probably get by with a two blade.
 
 Otherwise, it boils down to how sexy do you think it looks, and how tall are
 you when sitting on your wallet.  :>)
