Here is a heads up for MT propeller users.

he replaceable brush assembly part number RAB40012 is part number identical
to a brush assembly used on McCauley propellers on some Cessna 300 and 400
series airplanes.  The part is made by RAPCO, 445 Cardinal Lane, Hartland,
WI. 53029, (414) 367-2292

The McCauley part has three brushes installed in the angle holder while the
MT propeller uses only two.  It appears MT uses the McCauley part by
removing one brush without changing part number.

When you need a replacement get the McCauley part and save 2 way
trans-Atlantic freight and customs complications.  It is easy to remove one
brush and with a little care you end up with another spare brush.
