It's amazing just how many different gas struts apparently will work on our
airplanes! I've seen mention of Porsche, Volvo, Pontiac (I think) and a lot
more. I changed mine out for a Cadillac hood strut (part number buried in my
hangar and lost until spring) and it works better'n the original. My gear
drops without hydro pressure quicker than with it. Go figure.
