So far we have not seen any cracks or elongation of the holes. We used the stainless retaining ring and the moveable receptacles (to make the stud match easily). The receptacles are also the adjustable depth kind so that the cowling can be made to be really flush. These are the numbers: SK213-2 Receptacle 2000 Series C SK28S3-2S Stud, wide flange mTSO-C 2600-LW C Series Retaining Ring. The spacing on the cowling is 4" and the ES cowling is a lot bigger than yours. The Skybolt people were very helpful in getting the right selection. Hope this helps.
