Political history aside, what should the role of government be?
I would argue the government has a legitimate role in protecting unsuspecting citizens from needless death.
causes of needless death:
- underqualified pilots
- underqualified builders/designers
- parts suppliers that don't supply engineering
- parties that confuse money with skill

Arguably the 51% rule hurts most if not all of those.
...but that is not my point.
My point is what about me building or not building 51% protects the public?
