I used to purchase Hysol from EV Roberts in Culver City CA when I lived in the area.  I am now in Colorado, and bought a one-quart kit from them since their price was $97 and Lancair wanted $120 plus shipping.  The credit card bill was $147 for this tiny order, for a no-rush ground shipment (Fedex ground).  When I suggested they made a mistake in the shipping charges, this was their reply:

<<Our prepaid shipping charges include the cost of sending the package via Fedex, along with a service fee to cover all shipping related expenses (insurance etc.) incurred by EV Roberts.  Your order had a charge of  47.42 for freight.>>

My response to them was as follows:

<<Don't worry.  With $47 for shipping on an order weighing less than two pounds, you won't be getting any repeat business.>>

As they say -- buyer beware...
